Clock Cottage is situated within the grounds of an old Farmhouse but is separate and has its own privacy. The Cottage is so named because of the 18th Century Clock situate on an adjoining roof the workings of which originally came from an old stable block near Tenbury Wells. Because the Clock chimes the hours, including throughout the night we do not keep it wound on a regular basis for fear of disturbing Guests although some have said they enjoy the sound of it.
The cottage was originally a cow Byre and the garden, the adjoining stockyard.
The Farm has some 80 acres including woodland and ponds and Guests are welcome to wander over the same. There is also a floodlit Tennis Court which Guests are welcome to use. It is particularly nice to play on a crisp, starlit night.
We are situated on the lower slopes of the Skirrid Mountain which is the Southernmost of ‘THE BLACK MOUNTAINS’
The cottage comprises one spacious double bedroom with Kingsize bed and floor to ceiling windows which open onto the private garden, a bathroom with roll top bath, large separate shower, Loo and hand basin, a cosy kitchen living room with wood stove, TV, bookcase and WiFi, this also has floor to ceiling windows which open onto the garden. The garden is lawned with a paved sitting area with gas BBQ a table and chairs. There is ample parking. The Cottage is next to a dead end lane.
